Cheryl has been with Safra Radio’s news team for over four years, and is a constant voice providing the news and sports updates on Power 98.
She has interviewed a number of key personalities, such as Minister Grace Fu, speaker of Parliament Halimah Yacob, ACRES founder Louis Ng, national bowler Shayna Ng, singer-songwriter Tanya Chua and award winning filmmaker Anthony Chen.
Cheryl also helps to manage the team, vetting scripts and deciding which events/assignments should be covered.
Prior to her current role, she was a public relations consultant in two agencies, IMSG and Edelman. It was through her PR work that the she discovered her passion for news.
Cheryl has a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree from the Singapore Management University, with double majors in political science and corporate communications.
In her spare time, Cheryl enjoys shopping (both online and off), a session of yoga and is devoted dogmum to her Japanese Spitz, Kumo.
Renee is a communications graduate from the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information, and has been a broadcast journalist with Power 98 since September 2015. Trained for print, she never expected to end up as a voice on radio, but is enjoying every bit of the ride. She has covered events such as the Singapore Grand Prix, SAF Day and Budget 2016. When Renee is not busy reporting, she likes to cycle for leisure, try new food places and visit exhibitions around our sunny island.
Jeraldine is a Broadcast Journalist with SAFRA Radio, writing and presenting the daily news and sports for Power 98FM and 88.3 Jia FM.
She discovered her passion for news during her undergraduate studies in Political Science at the National University of Singapore. She has been trained in public speaking, and has hosted several events attended by dignitaries like Acting Minister Ong Ye Kung.
When she is not chasing the news, she can be found exploring outdoors or experimenting with recipes in the kitchen. She is also an avid fan of sports and supports Liverpool FC.
